FSFAPA is getting more serious about advocating for children and families in Florida. We have made a more concerted effort with the addition of an “Legislation “ position, and we’re fortunate to have a CBC Advisor to the Board that is dedicated to advocacy.
If you have any suggestions for areas that need attention, or proposals to change legislation, administrative code or even just “policies, practices or procedures” … please contact one of the people linked above.
While this is an ongoing effort, our advocacy efforts reach a crescendo with “Childrens Day at the Capitol” in Tallahassee each year (during the legislative session.)
