NexGen Teens is a program that has grown up within the FloridaFAPA family. It started as a separate conference for teens simultaneous to the Annual Education Conference for the parents.
It has grown, and is now much more than that. It is a conference, education opportunity, leadership development program, social event and even a support group for our teens (and now an offshoot for tweens) that are impacted by the foster care system and adoption. It isn’t just kids with “labels” but every teen in any of our families can participate (as long as they live up to the expectations on behavior!)
We’re not only proud of what it has become, but also proud that some of the alumni of the program are dedicated to keeping it going — and growing.
