Emily Duda Buckley is a seasoned public affairs and government relations professional with nearly two decades of experience in public policy, advocacy, and strategic planning. She currently serves as Senior Manager of External Affairs for A. Duda & Sons, Inc., where she leads legislative, regulatory, industry relations, and community engagement efforts on behalf of one of Florida’s longest-standing family-owned businesses.

 Throughout her career, Emily has worked at the intersection of government, business, and community impact, managing advocacy initiatives across a wide range of issues including agriculture, child welfare, education, transportation, environmental policy, and economic development. Her professional background includes service in both the public and private sectors, where she has built a reputation for developing collaborative solutions and advancing policies that strengthen families and communities.

 Emily’s commitment to children and families extends beyond her professional work. She is the adoptive mother of twins and a passionate advocate for foster care, adoption, and child well-being. Her personal experience navigating the child welfare system has deepened her dedication to supporting foster, adoptive, and kinship families throughout Florida.

 In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents, Emily serves on the boards of 4Roots Foundation and Kids House of Seminole. She is also a former volunteer Guardian ad Litem and is active with her local church community and her children’s school. Emily believes strong families are the foundation of strong communities and is committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, stable, and loving home.
