Dr. Selena Garrison currently serves as the Study Coordinator for the Florida Youth Experiences Study (FL YES). She is a research affiliate of the Florida Institute for Child Welfare, Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner, and Accredited Financial Counselor. She recently completed her PhD in Youth Development and Family Sciences at the University of Florida, where she specialized in childhood trauma and resilience and trauma-informed systems of care. Dr. Garrison has served as a foster parent since 2016 and has adopted two children from foster care.
